Building A Strong Brand with BETA Consulting Group at the Tough Mudder

In an effort to be consistent with the core value of generosity, BETA Consulting Group, a leading branding company, will be hosting the 2023 Word on the Street Tough Mudder Charity Challenge on April 29 to raise money for The Suke Strong Foundation to benefit ALS patients. The goal of the event is to raise at least $10,000 for the foundation and have a great time with a team of tough mudders, and BCG is asking industry colleagues and companies to participate as a sponsor of the event in exchange for co-branding opportunities.

Now, why a tough mudder? Well, why not? It’s a great way to get off the couch, be motivated to get in shape, work together as a team and conquer challenging obstacles. The Tough Mudder is an obstacle race through the mud and water with 5k, 10k and 15k options. Participants will traverse mud pits, climb walls, crawl under barbed wire and much more as a team to complete the race as fast as possible, with each obstacle designed to push physical and mental boundaries for an unforgettable experience. Raising money for a great foundation like the Suke Strong Foundation is icing on the cake.

Suke Strong was created over a decade ago in honor of Joan Suchar, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother and a grandmother who was diagnosed with ALS in 2011. As she lived with ALS for nearly six years, her passion to choose joy every day and to help other ALS patients was inspirational, and she requested that her family carry on the tradition of raising money to assist other ALS patients with end-of-life financial needs. As there is no cure to the disease most commonly referred to as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, ALS patients must struggle through the deterioration of their bodies while their minds remain sharp, and this leads to many much-needed accommodations. From home modifications to automobile modifications, wheel chairs and communications devices, the challenge for ALS patients and their families is that much of these needs are not covered by insurance.

Since the Word on the Street is a group of transportation professionals who go LIVE on Friday afternoons to create community, coming together for the Word on the Street Tough Mudder Charity Challenge seemed like a great way to do good together. Friends, family, industry colleagues and companies are encouraged to learn more about the event and donate to the cause by clicking on the link to the event’s GoFundMe page, which is
